Our Management

Markus Elsässer

Markus Elsässer is the founder and CEO of Solar Promotion GmbH and the sole shareholder of the company group. In 1991, he laid the foundation for Intersolar, the world's leading exhibition for the solar industry. Since then, he has expanded the group's portfolio with numerous international projects and events.

Dr. Florian Wessendorf

Since 2016, Dr. Florian Wessendorf has been part of the executive management team. His focus is on further developing the company group as a global information and strategy platform for the solar and storage industries, particularly in international markets.

Bernd Porzelius

Since 2018, Bernd Porzelius has been responsible for planning and organizing the group’s conferences as Managing Director of Conexio-PSE GmbH. In 2023, he was also appointed to the executive board of Solar Promotion GmbH, expanding his responsibilities to cover the entire company group.
